  we love to go to Kokomos, great bar and restaurant,i love the shrimp,Dale likes the broasted chicken and pork chops.the staff are great, personable fun . we also like the drinks that we get at the bar of course.

  Huge disappointment ! After doing sales in this area for many years I've had a few people tell me this place was pretty good. So I stopped in one evening. The first thing I noticed was that is was so cold inside I wasn't even able to take off my jacket. Mind you it was winter but it wasn't below zero outside or anything extream. My server was friendly but was running all over the place and seemed super rushed. I don't know how she could have been so rushed as they only has one other party of four dinning besides me. With so many good Breweries (Schell's) in the area I was unpleasantly surprised to find they only offered about 4 watery brews from St Louis and Milwaukee. I figured if I was going to drink water I might as well drink water... I ended up getting a steak, it had no flavor and was about as tender as a work boot. My coworker got the fish, she did say her meal was “ok”but nothing to write home about. With so many people telling me how good it was I'm not sure if I just came at the wrong time or their taste buds are shot. I just feel I need to be honest about my dinner experience no matter what the local hype has been. Needless to say I will not be going back.
